It’s almost Mothers Day, a day that is bittersweet for me. I lost my own mom 10 years ago to breast cancer. She died when my first baby was only 8 months old, and only a few days after I found out I was pregnant with my second. Motherhood has been a journey I have had to walk without her around to ask all the big questions and to share all the challenges, struggles, and joys that come with being a mom. I’ve found that a strong community of other moms was the medicine I needed to fill that void. So for the past 11 years now I have made it my practice to surround myself with women who get it.
This is what has inspired me for a very special day retreat I will be offering on Saturday, May 12, for all moms—pregnant, new, and seasoned.
The Practice Day Retreat for Mothers will be the perfect way to escape, get quiet, nourish yourself, and connect with other moms. The day will be filled with real community, conversation, reflection, and answers to your deepest questions. Meditation, journaling, feminine yoga, amazing music, and time to re-connect with yourself are all on the menu.
This will be a circle where you get to connect with yourself, both in your role as a mother and as a woman outside of that role, and remember who you truly are….
I have only 6 spots left for the afternoon. It is filling up fast. We will meet from 1:00- 4:00 pm.
I would be honored to have you join me.
