The Practice Leadership Council is an intimate 12-month feminine leadership training and spiritual mastermind. It's an immersive mentorship and sisterhood designed to help you learn to lead without sacrificing your health, dreams, and desires for others. It's a reclamation of your truth, expressed in how you lead. Together, for 12 months, we practice deepening into ourselves and breaking ancient patterns that keep us living from depletion and burn-out.
We practice deep reverence for who we truly are and make a sacred commitment to ourselves.
We practice listening to and making decisions from our soul’s truth.
Through our collective stories we inspire each other and remember who we truly are.
You find yourself awake at night worrying about the endless tasks and responsibilities weighing you down. There are so many people relying on you that often it feels hard to breathe.
Every day you promise yourself that today is the day when you will make a change. You will set the boundary. You will say no. You will make time for yourself. But each day passes, and it doesn't happen. You are a gifted leader with so many gifts to give, but you feel yourself slipping away.
You long for the freedom to feel like yourself again. To feel healthy, and vibrant, and free of the weight. You long for deep authentic connection with yourself and those you love. You long to feel like your life matches who you really are.
With everything happening in the world right now, you know that now is the time to make a profound change, but you just don’t know where to begin.
You crave sisterhood—a tight-knit group of women that sees you for all that you are and holds you accountable.
Welcome home, Sister. You are not alone. You are in the right place.
It's time to take back your energy, health, and inner power.
Let me ask you...
you are not alone
Collectively, as women, we’ve inherited patterns of over-giving, over responsibility, and self-abandonment.
We don’t believe we are worthy or that we are good enough. We don’t trust ourselves and our own innate wisdom. These limiting beliefs and ancient patterns live deep in our DNA as women. Our mothers were taught by their mothers who were taught by their mothers. These feminine patterns go way back and are the reason we feel disconnected from ourselves and lead from depletion.
The Practice was designed for women like us. There is yoga and therapy and church and meditation, but nothing was designed with a woman’s unique needs in mind. We take care of those we serve, but we've never been taught to prioritize ourselves, or devote our lives to our own well-being. We’ve never been taught how to listen to our own inner guidance and to trust our inner knowing. The Practice teaches us to do this. It shows us how to live a life that matches our true essence. It’s everything we need to remember who we are and live and lead from our feminine truth.
Women are the natural spiritual and emotional leaders of our families and communities. If we are burnt out, broken, and depleted trying to lead our children into the future, then we are adding to the problem. We are then only creating more anxiety, more uncertainty, and more unfulfillment. The Practice teaches women to put ourselves first, in service of those we love and the world we live in. We are the mothers of the world, and we need to show up fully nourished and fully expressed so that we can authentically care for the ones we love and serve.
“The Practice changed my life because I no longer seek others for my answers, but instead listen to my powerful source of inner wisdom and guidance. As a result of this experience, I'm more grounded and centered in my life and feel I can show up as my full authentic self without worrying what others will think.”
Embody your truth.
remember that your gifts, talent, time, mind, and body are sacred
Cultivate a deep sense of trust for yourself and your inner knowing
commit to never abandoning your own needs for the sake of others
devote your life to your own well being and sacred purpose for the sake of all
lead in a way that honors your body, your capacity, and you truth
I owned and ran a women’s healing center in Walnut Creek, California, for almost 10 years. My inspiration to open that space was my mother, who died young of breast cancer. She was the kind of woman who gave and gave to us kids, and to her work, and to the community, but she never gave back to herself. She died with a half-written Master’s thesis on her bed stand and a million things she still wanted to do. I believe she died young in part because she never put herself first. She was never shown how to value herself or how to devote her life to her own wellbeing. She became depleted in her lifelong act of giving herself away.
After she died, I wanted to give back in some way. So I created a space where women could gather, connect, and heal, so that they didn’t end up sick like my mom. So that they could see how amazing and valuable they are, and how their lives and gifts matter. I wanted to change the way women show up for themselves.
Even though I had been teaching yoga for years, had a Master's degree in Holistic Health Education, and all the healing tools possible, I still sacrificed my own health and wellbeing for others, just like my mother.
I showed up to work when I was depleted. I gave myself away to not disappoint those that I loved and served. Until my body took me down and I got really sick. The kind of sickness that shows you that, if you want to live, you have to change.
At my lowest, darkest place, I stared into my own eyes, and I saw her. Not just my mom, but every woman who walked through those studio doors. I saw that we are all the same, we are all in this together.
I saw clearly that not only did I open that healing center to help other women heal, but also to eventually heal myself. Through my business, all these inherited patterns came to the surface, and I was given an opportunity to finally break them—to heal the wounds of my mother and grandmother, and to light a new path for my daughter.
There was a truth inside my heart that I could not ignore. I knew I had to make big changes in order to fully heal. I realized I had to close the doors to that healing center. The health of my studio depended on the health of me. It couldn't go on if I was sick and unwell. It was the hardest truth I have ever had to face.
And it was beautiful. Women gathered and healed and transformed. It was pure grace and beauty. And it was an honor and gift for me to witness.
But the irony in the story is that while hundreds of women were healing and putting their lives back together, I began to fall apart. You see, I am no different than my mother, and no different than most every woman I’ve ever met. I inherited patterns of over-responsibility, over-giving, and self-abandonment from my female ancestors. These ancient patterns were passed from my grandmother, to my mother, and finally to me. And so the only way I knew how to lead and serve was to give myself away. That’s how I was conditioned to show up.
I resolved to lead differently because I know I still have a lot to give, and I am not done serving. I’ve dedicated the last several years to my own healing and to unraveling these ancient patterns. My life looks incredibly different now.
I know as much as anyone how to over-give and self-sacrifice. I also know the cost if we don't find our way back to ourselves and make a commitment to our own health and well-being. I vowed to never abandon myself again, and I invite you to do the same.
And I invite you to do the same.
Confident in your decisions.
Fully expressed in your work and family.
Nourished in your body.
Connected to your higher self.
Calm, centered, and creative.
Aligned with your life.
Supported by deep community and sisterhood.
Inspired by and excited about your life's work.
Grounded in your leadership.
This 12-month intimate leadership training and spiritual mastermind is for women leaders who are done. Smart, accomplished, spiritually connected women, who may have lost their way, and are done living by someone else’s rules. Done following the map our society has laid out for us. Done being quiet, and perfectly kept, and nice, and sweet, and available all the time for everyone else. Done putting yourself last. This council is designed to gather women leaders who want to have a different conversation about womanhood and leadership. Women who know, in their deepest knowing, that there is another way to live, and they are ready to claim it, and lead with it.
What I've come to understand is that women need each other. We need each other to rise, to heal, to see that we are not alone, to love, and to lead the way we are designed to lead. We need each other to remember our own power. We are not meant to go through this life alone, and at a time when our world is plagued with disconnection and pain, we need to come back together.
We are living lives on overdrive. We've lost sight of our own creative nature, our intuition, what it means to be feminine and to live in a healthy body. Our minds have been caught in endless circles of should’s and have to’s, constant judgments, and paralyzing fears. It’s hard to find space to simply be quiet and listen to our own voices.
We need a spiritual practice and community that teaches us how to lead from our center. We need a practice that is responsive to who we are as women. One where it's safe for us to show up just as we are. Where we get to re-write the rules, connect, share, and heal together. A practice that honors us completely. One where soft is the new hard, where we can practice receiving instead of giving, and where we can learn to surrender instead of to push. We need this kind of practice and a container to hold us while we unravel and re-become who we truly are. This is The Practice Leadership Council.
Leave toxic relationships.
Open and close businesses.
Heal chronic illness.
Know and charge their worth.
For 12 months we weave our way through the teachings and philosophy of The Practice. Through mentorship, council meetings, sisterhood, leadership development, meditation, reflection, and ritual we deepen into who we are, discover where we are disconnected, and do the work to change. We sink into our truth, practice listening to our intuition and inner voice, and honor the calling in our hearts. We leave the 12 months with a new perspective, clarity on what and how to change, and courage to put our own needs first.
Relocate to a more aligned place.
Speak truth to power.
Set clear boundaries.
Recover from burnout.
Rise into higher levels of leadership.
Own their true talents and gifts.
Step into their truth.
Break generational patterns.
“The thing I love the most about The Practice is hearing other woman leaders say out loud their thoughts of shame, guilt or failure which I had thought ONLY I suffered from. The freedom that comes from knowing I am not alone is more powerful than any other one thing.”
The reason we lead from depletion and disconnection is because of ancient matrilineal patterns and cultural conditioning we've inherited over generations. We will look at these patterns and break them.
Topics we explore...
We learn how to listen to our inner voice and lead from our truth. Self-devotion is the opposite of self-abandonment. We will practice bringing our own needs into the foreground.
Sacred Listening is tuning in to your spiritual connection and intuition, to that ache or nudge deep within your body that we often ignore. It is surrendering to the clear callings in your heart.
What needs to die for you to truly live? What do you need to let go of so you can fully bring your gifts into the world? We dive deep and look at what needs to change, and how to release the burdens of self-sacrifice.
We explore how practicing vulnerability is the gateway to connection with yourself and the people you love. We look at leadership through the lens of vulnerability and how it can help us access our own power.
Letting go of control and accepting where and how we are in any given moment allows us to step into the divine flow of our life. Forgiveness of ourselves and people we love is a gateway to peace.
Boundaries are the foundation to reclaiming your energy and power. They will help you save yourself.
Leadership is currently defined by the patriarchy. It is distorted and leaves us feeling broken and unworthy. We explore leadership through a feminine lens, and redefine how we show up in our leadership roles.
Feminine leadership is about cultivating a deep sense of trust within yourself. It is also about listening to your inner truth, following the callings in your heart, and letting go of control. Surrender is the deepest level of trust in something larger than ourselves.
Sovereign leadership is reclaiming our value as women. It is taking back our power and never giving ourselves away. It is re-writing the feminine myth that we must sacrifice ourselves to be seen.
Soul leadership is honoring your truth and making decisions to match what is real. It is full alignment with your highest self for the highest good. It is taking your power and self-authority back.
Wild Grace is the female soul. It is what our generational wounds have quieted or repressed, and it lives dormant in our bodies and hearts. She is the nudge you feel to follow a call, or to go a different route. She is the force behind our life. Wild Grace is always with us, and she is ready to emerge now.
It’s a very personal, intimate program that will change the way you think and the way you live your life.
It is for women who are ready to make change and stop self- sacrificing. We go deep and we are not afraid to touch the tender parts. Expect tears, breakthroughs, grief, grace, and unraveling of old parts to find the true you. The Practice is real, deep, and moving. The Council is here to hold you while you unravel and break open.
Because of the depth of The Practice and the nature of the work that we do together, this program is offered over 12-months. This is important because it gives you the time and space needed fully integrate and embody the teachings of The Practice. We are reprogramming our body, our brain, and our nervous system, and making systemic changes to the way we live and lead.
We are also living through a time of great disruption, chaos, and uncertainty. While the world is speeding up, we actually need to slow down. We need a community to help us ground and stabilize as we navigate the new landscape we are living in. We need a container and support to hold us through our transformations. We are not meant to walk this life alone.
The Leadership Council will support you through your deepest transformations.
Are you ready to finally change your life?
At the beginning of each month Michelle will offer a live and recorded Practice session. This is where the practice for the month ahead is introduced. Expect a deep conversation, reflection, meditation, and sometimes and embodiment practice. Handouts, book suggestions, and journal prompts will come with each monthly Practice session. The recording can be watched on your own time.
What you get...
Along the way, and throughout the year, expect pop-up offerings, bonuses, conversations with other women thought leaders, gifts, and more.
Each month we will gather as a collective for our Spiritual Mastermind and virtual retreat. Offered on the second Saturday of each month, this is a time to drop into the teachings of The Practice in the deepest way. Michelle will guide you on a journey of meditation, reflection, ritual, and connection with the other women in the Leadership Council. This is a sacred touch point and an escape into yourself that you won't want to miss. It becomes your monthly ritual and connection with your higher self. It's a time where we practice embodying what we are learning and connecting with our community. This gathering is not another Zoom meeting, or a typical class. It is sacred, devotional, and feels like coming home.
Once a month you will have the opportunity to meet and gather with your council. This is small group of women that you will travel with throughout your 12-months. Council meetings are led by Georgie Weston, our in-house elder, and wise woman leader. Georgie is a long-time feminine leadership coach and student of the Divine Feminine. In your council meetings you will receive personal mentoring, support from your sisters, and time to reflect more intimately on your own process.
Each month Michelle offers a live Leadership Development circle. This is a time to look deeply at how to weave the teachings and philosophy of The Practice specifically into your expression of leadership. It's time to explore how to reclaim your own sense of sense and become fully expressed in how you lead. Expect leadership lessons, reflection, personal mentorship, and more practice.

After these past years of the pandemic, political unrest, and disruption of our lives, we have been forever changed. We’re being shown a choice between the old way of living and being, and a new way that is asking to be born. I believe that we are living in a time of great transformation, healing, and possibility.
I have a vision of gathering women from all of the world to sit together, as a council of mature leaders, committed to breaking and shattering the old ways of being a woman. The ways our society has taught us to be. The ways we have been raised to believe are right and righteous. It’s time to liberate ourselves and start speaking in our true voices. It’s time to open our souls and connect fully with our feminine wisdom so we can shine as the women we are called to be. If you know you are meant to live and lead in a different way, and you desire deep inner and outer change so your life matches your truth, then you are in the right place. Join me for a life-changing journey.
20 years of experience teaching and guiding women back to themselves. I’ve led thousands of women to start living deeper, more connected and inspired lives.
An extensive, grounded education. I have a Master’s degree in Holistic Health Education and years of yoga, life coaching, and spiritual training. My teachings and offerings are rooted in scholarship and a broad understanding of women, health, and spirituality.
Experience with women. I owned and ran a women's healing center for 10 years. I understand women from the inside out. I’ve had the honor of witnessing thousands of women as they moved through their own healing journeys—the grit, the pain, and the beauty.
My personal journey. I’ve walked my own personal journey from self-abandonment to self-devotion. I’ve lived through grief and hardship as a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, and an entrepreneur. I weave worlds together, just like every woman leader I know.
I live The Practice. What I’m teaching is a way of life, and I’m committed to what I teach both in the circles I lead, and in every moment of my personal and professional life. I am committed to listening to my truth and living a life that reflects who I truly am.
“I joined The Practice, a circle of women I barely knew, and I felt my boundaries that I had held up all day at work come crashing down.
I was grateful for this space to bring my tired broken body and heart. I was grateful for Michelle to lead a circle in this way and for the space she created where I could really be me. I internally noticed I didn't have a place to feel my feelings. I couldn't recall when I lost myself, but I was lost.
The circle allowed me to fully enter the dark. I was held in my darkness. The Practice led me to a deep awakening.”
We are women leaders who understand that the world is at a turning point, and it is critical for us to be well-nourished and wide awake to help the planet heal.
We place ourselves at the center of our own world.
We trust ourselves and find guidance from within.
We are deeply devoted to our own personal and spiritual growth.
We live from truth instead of fear.
We don’t compromise our values.
We believe in the power of connection and sisterhood.
We are not afraid to invest in our own becoming.
We are leaders redefining modern womanhood.
“Before The Practice I was exhausted and overwhelmed from years of working in a way that didn’t allow me to be who I truly am. All I wanted to do was run away.
Yet, as I allowed my true self to emerge I found The Practice calling me on a deeper level. Any fears, shame, or loneliness that I carried around with me were allowed to be witnessed and held without judgment. Any unworthiness or doubt that I felt about myself began to drip away as I opened up and let my voice be heard. My life has been truly transformed because of it. ”
“The Practice has been deeply ingrained as a piece of my healing.
“The Practice taught me how to hold space for others, and break patterns I don't want to pass onto my daugthers.
I was unsure at first, but in need of connection and community. I wanted a place to call home. Little did I know that The Practice would lead me back home—the home within. The home that never leaves us, we only get disconnected from our truest self. The Practice helped to hold my hand and guide me back home to me, my one true love.”
The Practice was a safe space and container that allowed me to feel, open myself up, and gave me assurance that I was going to be okay. Every time I showed up, I gained more knowledge on how to be a better, more aligned version of myself. I credit The Practice on my journey to becoming a certified yoga instructor, and now a business owner in the yoga space."
This could be you....
“The Practice helped me sort out my thoughts on my life. It’s been instrumental in my recovery from depression.
“When I first met Michelle, I entered the Practice a tired, resentful woman after years of pushing through the world playing by the old patriarchal rules.
I’m now fearless of sharing what’s on my mind. The fear of being vulnerable is gone. It’s empowering! I love that my restored positive energy is back and is infectious with my family and clients. The Practice is like taking a small vacation every week to make yourself be a better person.”
I emerged a stronger, softer feminine leader. Michelle creates a beautiful and nourishing container that allows each woman to feel safe, to let down the armor and the masks to reclaim the fullness of who you are. She gently but firmly guides you back to your center. In the Practice, I reclaimed my softness, my fiery passion, and deeper trust in myself. Michelle holds the mirror for you to do the same.”
