The Practice Picnic Party—a day-long retreat—an escape so you can breathe again.
There is space for 40 women to gather in a circle in the most stunning of places. A beautiful sunlit room nestled in 160 acres of open space in a private villa in the foothills of Mt. Diablo. It’s so quiet and still, all you can hear is the soft wind, the birds, and your own voice. Finally, your own voice.
We will gather, connect, share, laugh, cry, journal, and then move. We will move our bodies to music that feels like a story. We’ll unravel, unhook, and unwind until we feel like ourselves again. Tears will move as we move. The movement will feel like a prayer. Like a way back home.
After the gorgeousness of the circle, we’ll step outside for a yummy picnic on blankets on the grass. Women who you love will be there, along with new faces you naturally want to connect with. Conversations in the spring sunshine will feel like medicine.
After lunch, we’ll gather together around a beautiful swimming pool, listen to music, chat, enjoy the nature around us, and maybe a glass of wine.

There are so many women in our community who have done The Practice in the past, women who currently take class every week, and women who have been watching the magic from the sidelines for years.This picnic is a way for us to all gather and practice together at once! So if you need a day away, a reason to celebrate, or an excuse to escape, this is for you. If you are part of our community, come play and see all your sisters in one place! And if you are new to The Practice, come get a taste of what we do and where we are going.

Cost includes a day away at a private villa in the Diablo Hills. A three-hour circle and Practice with Michelle Long. Space to meander, picnic, and swim. Light snacks and wine. Sisterhood and love.
